When you enter the cottage you will instantly see the view of both the pool and the lake which has boat docks that are provided for your use. The cottage was decorated with a cooling palate in mind but not enough warmth that you would miss the great outdoors that await you. The master bed and bath are on the top entry floor and the three other bedrooms and baths are on the lower level. The kitchen opens up to the dining area which flows on to the living area which then leads to the screened in deck. So pack your swimsuit and your tanning oil and come to the lake for the time of your life. There is one boat slip per home. If you would like to bring a boat or a SeaDoo that's fine but this is all the space you will have. This is a quiet slew that's great for swimming or sitting outside and reading a book. Newly renovated dock with boat tie ups. Slew opens up to a large area that's great for skiing and tubing. We also have access to a community park with a boat ramp, pavilion and docks (not to be used overnight) that is an easy walk to. This has been our family lake house since 1958 when our grandparents built it. We love the location and it's easy to get to from Tallassee or Montgomery. In our opinion, this family friendly cottage is very comfortable and relaxing! H20 has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Bedroom #1 has 2 double beds and a tv. Bedroom #2 has 1 double bed and 1 twin bed and a tv. Bedroom #1 and#2 share a bathroom with a shower and access to the outside from this bathroom. The beach area is sandy and the water easy access with steps and goes from very shallow to about 7 feet deep at the end of the pier. There is a floating boat slip and plenty of room for docking other boats. Relax in the hammock, sit in the swing on the point watching the boats on the lake, or just relax in the lake or yard. If you have less than 5 vehicles, you can back your boat trailer down the driveway. However, the driveway is a little steep and curved so backing down and driving out would take some skill.

There is a stacked stone fireplace with a 50" flat screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped and should have most everything you would require to prepare meals. The second and third bedrooms have a lake view and queen beds. The fourth bedroom has a full bed. There is a spacious deck with comfortable furniture and a Gazebo overlooking the lake. It is a wonderful place to relax with your morning coffee, enjoy your dinner or have after dinner cocktails. You have a choice of a charcoal or gas grill. We have a private boat slip with 150 feet of waterfront.

Beautiful sunset lake views from all gathering rooms in the house. Three bedrooms have king sized beds with their own private bathrooms. The bunk bed room sleeps eight and there are two additional rooms with two twin beds. Enjoy a game of pool or ping pong with your family or take in a movie on the large screen projector in the family room. Kayaks, paddle board, canoe and Maui Mat are available for use also. The lot is mostly flat and our house is close to the water. Everyone will enjoy the top deck jump off platform during the day and the greenlight for fishing at night. We do have an outside video surveillance system for security purposes.

We have a large stationary dock, floating dock and two jet ski docks. There are stairs between the docks for easy swimming access to the lake. Our cove has deep water and we can boat up to our dock year-round. We do have a steep boat ramp, it is a little difficult to navigate. There is a public boat ramp about 2 miles away. Our guests are welcome to use our two stand-up paddle boards and our canoe. (Please provide your own life jackets.) There are multiple flights of stairs in the home and down to the lake, it is NOT TODDLER OR HANDICAP FRIENDLY. This retreat has the ability to house a lot of people and still provide privacy both indoors and out. By water it is easy to get to Chuck’s Marina & Pizza, Harbor Point Marina (& Copper’s Grill), and Chimney Rock. By land, it is a quick drive to Poplar Dawg’s, Judy’s Stagecoach, Copper’s Grill, Oskar’s, Niffer's, Dollar General, Rodeo Club & Colonel Tom’s.
